| This thread is to give information about the ranks, the Rank Point System, to post any request to add or remove points from a rank, to request your current rank to become permanent (no upranks) or to inform about inconsistencies between spreadsheet and tables. Offtopic posts will be removed. Please refer to the Discussion Thread for enhancement suggestions and other feedback about the System. - Full explanation of the Rank Point System:
- Ranks will be rewarded by the admins up to a max of 10 points per day for helping out in FC. There are also point penalties for different faults. - Only one positive entry per Rank Help Factor and per rank may be added per day. - Ranks can ask Point Managers in-game for a point entry to be added or post a request here (screenshot required). - Ranks will be added with their FORUM username to avoid name change inconsistencies - Everyday at game reset time, points will be updated on forums. The rank point entries and point tables can be checked anytime in the Rank Point System spreadsheet.- Every week at game reset time (Wednesday 00:00) ranks will be updated, upranking or deranking people according to the point table and the amount of time they have had their rank for. - All ranks that do not meet the points-per-week requirements will also get a point entry, losing the points they have missed this week (if they should have gotten 2 this week and got 0, they will lose 2). - Ranks can post one Application for a Higher Rank per month, and also given they already had their current rank for the minimum time. Supports and unsupports will give the rank points and the rank will be updated accordingly at week reset time (because of this it is advised to post applications on Wednesdays)
Active rank's points and date of last rank change Please refer to the Rank Point System spreadsheet for reading the rank list, points that were given to ranks and amount of points needed for uprank/derank. - How can a rank get or lose points?:
- Advertising. Get new people to join the chat, either by recruiting in w3 or pming friends. This plays a really important role these days because the chat has been dead for a while and people don't join on their own. - Teaching. Teaching new players how to become better at GOP. This is important for people to learn that GOP can be fun and want to play it for entertainment and not just for rewards. - Activity. Mantain a minimum activity acording to the rank. All ranks will be expected to help out and will have to help out in the FC in order to maintain or increase their rank. - Gameplay. Mantain 5050 when any player in game wants it to be even. Competitive games will be allowed only if everyone in the game agrees to do so (this already happens a lot these days when there are only goppers in the chat). - Rank behaviour. A rank is expected be friendly in FC and avoid being in FC while they cannot help out with games.

| It's outdated because it's principles are outdated. I haven't seen a non-admin rank in the fc in over a month. Why update something that isn't used? Every current rank below admin may as well be deranked to smiley or nothing

| Oh hmm okay. Well that'd suck I guess this a good memory then huh :)
But I would like to know everyone else's reasons. Man I wish I could come back but technical reasons restrain me :(
Maybe this place should be restored to everybody's former state instead of having a zillion smileys, locked, and preserved as good memory ^.^

The chat has been dead for a while, so all the old ranks are ex-ranks atm. I am not going to impose ranks on people that maybe do not have the time or do not wish to spend their time in FC anymore. Any person that is willing to help out with the FC is very welcome to do so, and can ofc be given a rank. Please PM me in game and avoid being offensive. Thank you.
